AcuEar, Your Dynamic Transformation!

AcuEar provides a procedure of ear puncture or stapling utilizing an AcuRing.  The procedure of ear puncture/stapling has been practiced for over two decades and many call it staple puncture or acupressure with stapling.  AcuRings are medical grade stainless steel staples that are placed on the inner cartilage of the ear.  One AcuRing is placed on each ear.  Each AcuRing placement will last anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months and depends on each individual.

Utlizing the principles and the science of acupuncture*, acupressure* & auriculotherapy* (* see below) the placement of an AcuRing allows the body to balance and heal using it's energetic state.  A natural yet highly effective treatment, AcuRings help assist the body in healing.   Each AcuRing is placed on different ear acupoints based on the clients desired effect.  Placement results in healing each individual's body needs first and foremost.

By balancing the yin, yang or qi (pronounced chi) of the body blocked energy can be released and allow stressed parts to heal.  Once the body is healed each individual's desired results can be achieved.  Most individuals seeking out AcuEar or ear stapling are looking to achieve weight loss, smoking cessation, pain reduction, stress & anxiety relief or improved sleep.  These imbalances are often symptoms of our daily lifestyle choices, rituals and routines.

Often individuals who have experienced disappointment in other treatment venues are drawn to AcuEar.  With AcuEar, ear stapling or placement of an AcuRing they find the unique treatment that offers positive results and changes their life.  Their Dynamic Transformation!  For example, many have claimed they are tired of weight watching, calorie counting, and deprivation while achieving little to minimum results.  We acknowledge calorie counting; exercise and diet are all critical for losing weight.  However, that approach alone often times leads to stagnation or limited results because all the focus is on deprivation or restriction.  The AcuEar approach offers desired results without constant focus.  It allows the body to take the lead and to let the mind follow.  Revolutionary when compared to other approaches.

Ear stapling is based on Eastern philosophies and foundations.  These philosophies are founded on awareness and balancing the bio-energy or qi ("life force" energy) of the body.  Qi is life.  Qi is the heart of medicine.  Life and medicine are one.  Bio-energy must be balanced (rhythmically), free-flowing/circulating, and continually replenished/of sufficient quantity.  Eastern medicine believes that a state of well-being is one in which the body is vital, balanced and adaptive to its environment.

Although Eastern philosophies are becoming recognized and utilized in the western wellness movement there are still some debates among the traditional western medical communities.  Western science foundations rely on the beliefs solely based on biology, physics or chemistry.  Traditional Western medical protocol is based on the cure of symptoms as opposed to the cure of disease it defines health as the absence of disease, pain defect or symptoms of illness.  Western medicine does not consider qi or bio-energy as relevant or important in healing the body.

Acupuncture, is the procedure of inserting and manipulating needles into various points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purposes.  According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), acupuncture points are situated on meridians along which qi (a "life energy"), flows.  The earliest written record of acupuncture dates back to the second century BCE.

Acupressure, (a blend of "acupuncture" and "pressure") is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) technique derived from acupuncture.  According to the principles of TCM, qi flows through the body via 14 primary meridians or channels.  To strengthen the flow of qi, or remove blockages in the meridians, an acupuncturist inserts a number of tiny, sterile, flexible needles just under the skin at certain specific points (called acupoints) along the channels.  There are four to five hundred named acupoints along the meridians, some of which are associated with specific internal organs or organ systems.

Auriculotherapy, or auricular therapy, or ear acupuncture, or auriculoacupuncture is a form of alternative medicine based on the idea that the ear is a microsystem with the entire body represented on the auricle, the outer portion of the ear.  Ailments of the entire body are assumed to be treatable by stimulation of the surface of the ear exclusively.  Through treatment of such points, energy flow is enhanced to this area of the body.  This increase of energy to an area of imbalance will potentially result in improvement to the physical as well as the energetic state of the body.
